Property Maintenance and Repair Association of South Africa

 

The Property Maintenance and Repair Association of South Africa PMRA (SA) is a self-sustaining, non-profit, voluntary association of trade representatives within the Property Services industry. It is focused on raising the profile of its members, gaining and sharing knowledge, promoting services in the industry and increasing standards to improve consumer confidence.
Established in September 2011, the PMRA (SA) is actively recruiting new members and understanding and promoting their interests.

Members of the PMRA (SA) enjoy the benefits of product briefings, training, launches and networking events; whereby they establish contacts, keep up-to-date with local and international products, techniques and trends. Members are also able to use the association as an advisory service and knowledge base.

Among other things, the PMRA offers ongoing advisory and support services on technical, labour relations, legal, contractual and marketing issues. In addition, the PMRA offers a wide range of training courses for contractors and their employees
The PMRA conducts ongoing audits of contractor member companies, ensuring that all aspects of their businesses operate to the highest standards. This involves checking company systems & procedures, health & safety practices and staff development and training programmes. This includes a regular schedule of site inspections for all contractor member companies. Membership of this association declares that the contractor is trustworthy and competent.
